DISCALIMER im not a professional in psychology/ mental health, this website is just a documentation of things that have helped me . if you feel like you or anyone around you needs help please communicate this with your loved ones and/or visit a professional who can help you.I do not own any of the media/ content available on this website unless stated otherwise (all images, gifs, videos, audio etc). I have tried to give credit to owners of the gifs/ websites in the captions. I will try to link the original page where it was uploaded.

How can I use this?

On the home page, below this button, you will notice a vertical group of buttons, you can click on them to view the content .Some of these buttons will direct you to another website, you can click on the back option to return to the home page .How to use these resources is pretty self explanatory .
the gifs are for distracting you, calming your senses visually .
the audio's are for calming your senses through sound .

what works for me:

These are a few things that have worked for me when I feel anxious and overwhelmed. They have helped me distract myself as well. These may or may not work for you. Some of this sounds really weird but it does help me.1. Butterfly tapping / Butterfly hug
link to the method:
2. Guided meditations.
YouTube is a nice place to start. I’ll link my favourites below. For apps, Headspace is a great place to start.
3. Lemonade. I don’t know why it helps and how it helps but it does.
4. Drinking water in slow sips.
5. Journaling. I could link a few prompts here. (Prompts that I’ve found on the internet)
6. Chewing on Rock sugar, or sweet/sour candies.
7. Keeping a piece of rock salt under my tongue. A tiny piece.
8. Sucking on Mints or chewing peppermint gum.
I’ve suffered from morning anxiety a lot. What worked for me was:9. Having a cup of water when I wake up and getting fresh air. Go on a walk or something. This is something that helps me sleep really well. I don’t know if it’s relevant over here but if you’re having trouble sleeping: Try sleep cast on headspace or ocean waves audios on YouTube. I’ve linked some calming sounds that might help.
